TELL: DIY 4TH OF JULY CAKE TOPPERS

Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays, everything is so festive!  Make sure you don't leave your desserts naked and add one of these cake toppers.  They are SO incredibly easy to make and lots of fun!

put some glue on the end of the wood skewer
put one of the pieces of fabric, then continue to repeat till you have four pieces of fabric glued on
Then cut the strips into thinner pieces
Then continue to glue on fabric pieces and cut until its nice and full.

Washi Tape American Flags

Supplies
wood skewers
washi tape (red striped and blue glitter tape)
scissors
tape a piece of red stripped washi tape to the top of the skewer
Cut it to the desired length.  Then attach a second piece of tape overlapping the first.  You need to gage how much to overlap depending on how wide you want your flag to be.  Just match up the lines and you can't tell where you overlapped each piece.
cut out a small square from the glitter tape, and attach.

SOOOO cute, and very clever how you made the flags with two different washi tape patterns! You have amazing taste, Sara <3
Would be so thrilled if you linked this up at the Summer Celebration Link Party that's live right now on my blog! Hope to see you there!!
