She had the opportunity to go to Savannah and visit the Paris Market, and took pictures throughout the day. She sent me all the photographs, and let me create whatever story I saw through her captured memories. It has been so exciting and fun...she left me so inspired, just as I hope her photos will leave you.

I get in my car, and see what passes me by...
I park and walk along the street to a cafe I think of as another home
I stop to read, to watch, to listen
I walk again and feel the sun...
and smell the baker's freshly made desserts.
I see what catches my eye...
and taste something warm.
The day is almost through and I am tired. I drive...
and park next to a familiar building...walk up some steps I have always known...
and I am HOME.

This is magical. You take me back to my long quiet walks around Savannah and the soft memories of sipping coffee and being completely charmed by the textures of Savannah. You words bring to life my photographs and my memories, thank you for letting me see in a new way.

What a beautiful post. I'm feeling a little nostalgic now because I lived in Savannah for a couple of years. That historic, timeless feel...I miss it sometimes.
